BILL OF RIGHTS vs. “FEELINGS”

October 6th show we talked about our First Amendment… “How important is the First Amendment to you?”
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
THREE STORIES WE VISITED TODAY

“FINED $13,000 BY STATE, FARMERS ARE FIGHTING BACK AGAINST ‘DISCRIMINATION’ RULING”
“TEACHERS SUE UNION FOR CENSORING CHARITABLE DONATIONS”
“It’s Time To Change Those Things We can No Longer Accept!”
Amendment VIII
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
The fine imposed upon the Bakery in Oregon was what I would call “EXCESSING” – $150,000 fine is not a fine but an execution of their business, livelihood and way of life. There’s no way the “FEELINGS” of the lesbian couple was worth $150,000. They might have been slightly offended – they might have been slightly inconvenienced but they were NOT financially damaged to the tune of $150,000.
Why is it that the faith of Christians is considered intolerant when it’s (we) always in constant persecution for belief in the words of Scripture? The faith & belief of Christians is not allowed to be “freely exercised” as guaranteed to us in the First Amendment!
ONE OF MY LISTENERS STATED:
“A person has a right to have a wedding cake and have the wedding on a farm. They also have the right to bake their own cake and buy and maintain a farm. To have someone else bake a cake or to use others property is a privilege.” Jason
Fines are not to be to the excess of ruining a person’s life – Neither one of these lesbian couples’ lives were ruined…. They might have had hurt feelings… but their lives and their weddings were not stopped!!!
It’s The Bill of Rights… Not a bill of feelings… These gals need to put on their big girl panties and “move on”… “let it go” and stop trying to target those they know are in spiritual opposition to their lifestyle of choice!
YES… target – when you read the article about the farm couple you’ll see that the lesbians recorded their phone call – SET UP!!! Who is it that hates? Who is it that is intolerant?

It’s time my friends… to change the things we can no longer stand…
Excessive fines, ruining businesses and chattering lives… the work of bullies!!
They are not promoting Freedom!
They are NOT promoting Tolerance!!
Excessive fines paid to the state and decided by a “judge” is extortion ~
Excessive fines paid to those who “set up” those they
know to be in an opposite belief is bullying and still… extortion!
