3834 – February 5, 2026 – YOU DON’T GIVE A 3-YEAR-OLD WHAT THEY WANT – When a 3-year-old (or young child) is throwing a fit you don’t give them what they want. You give them what they Need.
While we need patience, there is a line that must be drawn, and the democrat… I MEAN CHILD… must be disciplined in a way he or she will remember the next time they think about throwing a fit!
The late Dr Dobson wrote a book, “Parenting isn’t for Cowards.” AND we all know that is absolutely true.
Let us turn this around and say…. “True Patriotism isn’t for Cowards.” Certainly, it’s not for Tories!
When a child is demanding his or her way… the need is not for the parent to give in… but to discipline. AND THAT AIN’T ALWAYS EASY! Discipline takes time and consistency… not empty threats… but action. While many do not believe in spanking … and there is an age where that does no good… you still have to discipline.
I heard a father once, whose teenage daughter when she got angry would go to her room and slam the door. After telling her many times… advising her that was unacceptable behavior… he warned her… and then he did it! He removed her bedroom door from its henges! I’m not sure how long it lasted BUT it was effective.
I know I’ve told you the story of me sending my adolescent sons (two oldest ones) out into the cold weather … because they refused to stop fighting. We’re not talking verbal arguments… we’re talking testosterone battles for power. (there were a lot of those kind of “fights” as my sons were growing up) AND IT WASN’T EASY!
We are watching the circus in DC as hearings always turn into shouting matches (yes, they’re planned) … and inquiries are GOTCHA yes/no questions – never seeking any real truth. The democrats are throwing fits all over this nation!
