MAGA Is the Resurrection of Common Sense

MAGA is the Resurrection of Common Sense

3816 – January 12, 2026 – MAGA Is the Resurrection of Common Sense – This past Saturday, January 10, marked the anniversary of Thomas Paine’s pamphlet “Common Sense.”  You know how I love Thomas Paine’s “The Crisis”… did you know that he signed all of his writings, “Common Sense?” I am no Thomas Paine; I do love to read and share his writings… AND we sure do need such outspoken Common Sense bravery today in America. We need to be reminded… We need to be encouraged… We need to understand that without Common Sense… our nation will fall.

We Need Common Sense in America Again

Common Sense… is not saying a man can be a woman… and men can have babies.

Common Sense is not bowing to the mentally ill and using them as mercenaries OR hired protestors.

Common Sense is NOT Socialism… it is NOT communism, and Common Sense is the opposite of Marxism.

Common Sense encourages self-thinking and not groupthink.

Common Sense promotes education and not indoctrination

Common Sense believes in Liberty, Sovereignty of … individuals… and our nation…

Common Sense doesn’t rely on not govern by emotions

Common Sense believes in and governs by rule of law

Common Sense knows that Social equals fraud, and that social programs are simply easy avenues to theft and money laundering. The Redistribution of wealth… your wealth; no matter how rich or poor you might be.

Common Sense cannot be silenced or canceled

Common Sense relies on Truth… believes in personal responsibility

Common Sense believes in God… country and family… and in that order

Common Sense relishes in Life – Liberty and the pursuit of happiness property and prosperity.

Common Sense believes (knows) all men (and women) were created equal…

Common Sense believes in “Consent of the Governed” knowing that governments are instituted by men…… and from those men receive its power.

Common Sense is what America was founded on…

I believe the MAGA Movement is the resurrection of Common Sense

 Several Years Ago… there was a spoof written (I don’t know by whom) and distributed all over the internet……. It was “The Obituary of Common Sense”

An Obituary printed in the London Times

Posted by Ian Armstrong

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

  • Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
  • Why the early bird gets the worm;
  • Life isn’t always fair; and
  • Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

 He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;

  • I Know My Rights
  • I Want It Now
  • Someone Else Is To Blame
  • I’m A Victim
