My Patriot Blood Boils

As I studied news this morning, I grew agitated and angry; one might say
restless and anxious! While I might have been a compliant child, wanting to please and obey my
parents, and not wanting to be the subject of attention in class in front of my
peers, as an American citizen, I’m done being compliant.

I will serve and I will protect, but sir and madam, there is a LINE and that line
has not only been crossed but there has been an invasion of American soil.
An invasion of and by a virus more deadly than corona; this virus attacks
every part of your being, your family, your home, your LIFE – and your Liberty.
It annihilates you in such a way, that you are not able to pursue any means of
happiness or prosperity. You are stripped of all dignity and independence.
Where are you sir and madam American? Be there any patriots among you?
Have you forgotten who you are and where you live?

Do you not care about the future of your children? Would you have them
forever constrained to their houses and subject to some pious governor, who
knows not and cares not of your daily being and personal property. Have
these governors forgotten who is the subject and who is the servant?

You say, but sir, there is a virus among us and we must hide. I say, there is a
plague indeed among us and it is called tyranny; you should hide no more!
I will no longer comply with orders which are against my God given rights!
I will take care of my family!
I will guard my being!
I will work and make a living!
I will seek prosperity and property.
I will find happiness in my Liberty and Independence.
I will be a responsible man (woman) and pay my debts.

It is now time to recognize and acknowledge the debt wrought upon this
nation as a whole is not only unsustainable, it is an abhorrent mark of slavery
upon this once free people in a once free land.
Our legislators have become tyrants over We the People; taking and thieving
and passing laws that go against the very life of a free man!
I do not need their help or supply, I need them (congress) to get out of my
way, for I am an American and I will be freed from the bondage they have put upon me.
The Congress of the United States are elected servants who have gone rogue
and believe themselves to be above the very laws that they legislate. They
are an evil virus upon this land, which they now hate and choose to serve another.

Their arrogant and tyrannical ways make my patriot blood boil. I pledge, as a
modern-day patriot the same words as those who bled and died for our right
to lead as a people and not be dictated over:

I WILL NOT COMPROMISE,
I WILL NOT COMPLY,
I WILL NOT SUBMIT,
I WILL NOT BOW,
I WILL NOT BREAK,
I WILL NOT ROLL OVER,
I WILL NOT SIT DOWN,
I WILL NOT SHUT UP,
I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY,
I WILL NOT GIVE UP,
I WILL NOT SURRENDER!

Was it so long ago that we have forgotten? On October of 1768 British troops
landed in Boston. Their mission was to enforce the Townshend duties (taxes
on paint, paper, tea, etc.,) and to clamp down on the local radicals. The
troops’ presence obviously did not sit well with locals. There were skirmishes
in the streets. One particular clash between soldiers and a mob, was in
March of 1770; it left five dead. Radicals (local colonists) will call it the
Boston Massacre, while British troops referred to it as “the incident on King Street.”

Have they removed our history so that we would not remember the Spring of
1772? Committees of Correspondence were established throughout the
colonies in order to coordinate American response to British colonial policy.
(Today’s radicals would call that a police state.) This represented an important
move toward cooperation, mutual action and the development of a national
identity among Americans.

From March to June of 1774 the British tried to intimidate Massachusetts. The
British Parliament (their congress) passes the Coercive Acts, often called the
Intolerable Acts in America.
Among other actions, Britain closes the port of Boston and requires British
troops to be housed in taverns and vacant buildings. These acts generated
considerable sympathy for Massachusetts among other colonies.
(The Colonial Americans were not called deplorables but were legislated as Intolerables.)

Our beloved history of sacrifice should bring us to our knees; for this, for me…
It is at this time now that I will declare, once again, my independence.
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one
people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with
another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and
equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle
them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they
should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to
secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving
their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any
Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right
of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in
General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the
world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by
Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and

declare that these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free
and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to
the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the
State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as
Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude
Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts
and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the
support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of
divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our
Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

There was no incident on King Street; there has been a massacre of
America! This massacre was perpetrated and allowed by congress, not the
President of the United States. Presidents come and presidents go but
Congress stays and stays and for decades have been passing acts and bills
legislating against and ignoring your rights as individuals, as citizens of a free
nation. Americans have been asleep and have practiced way too much
patience with the arrogant elected ones.

I sleep no more sir!
I see and I shall stand!
I will honor the blood of my fathers!
I will no longer blindly comply!
My patriot blood boils and my heart looks to God, never to Congress!

I am a Patriot and I will live Independent and Free!
